Various issues have evolved between Unijos Asuu chapter and Management, several Meetings have been held with a view to resolving the issues
The strike Embarked by Unijos Asuu Chapter is as a result of the failure of Management to follow a particular template given to them as to who and who should be paid with regard to earned Allowances, which the Management did not follow
A committee has been set up by the management with a view to solve the issue, they were giving 3 days and their resolution will determine the next line of action
The S.U.G led by Comr. Izang Magaji Ajik has told students to keep calm but be ready to fight back in case they are pushed to the wall by the lecturers and management, and has encouraged students to resume.
However, lectures have resumed in some part of the university including- Sociology,Political Science,Medicine, and History, also some part of faculty of law
The senator Representing Off Campus constituency Sen. Arome Abu has however told students to send the name of their Landlord/caretaker, his phone number and the Place of Residence to his phone number
All this is coming barely a month after Asuu National Chapter called off its 6 months old Strike
