Unijos to Resume Tommorow

The University of Jos   has directed and Mandated  lecturers of the institution to resume work immediately.

In  a statement,  the Registrar of the school, Jilli Dandam,    said  that the order  to resume work immediately was in compliance with the Federal  Government’s  directive.

The statement read:   "Following the federal government's order on resumption of academic activities in all federal institutions, the Pro Chancellor and Chairman of Council on behalf of the governing council has directed  all academic staff of the university of Jos  to  return to their various departments and units, and commence work immediately”.

It is expected that academic activities should start as early as tommorow, all this is in a bid to beat the deadline of the government

He has however advised lecturers who love their jobs to resume work immediately, or risk loosing their jobs

We however wait comments from the Branch Asuu Chairman, who has been a front burner of the ongoing strike, it is however unclear how Asuu Unijos branch will react to this

We will keep you informed!
