President Jonathan has 10 aircrafts worth N62.4 billion in the Presidential fleet
Recent Findings have revealed that President Goodluck Jonathan has 10 private jets worth a total of N62.48 billion in the presidential fleet and it costs a whooping N9.10 billion to maintain them.
Aircrafts in the fleet include : Two Falcon 7x jets, two Falcon 900 jets, a Gulfstream 550, one Boeing 737 BBJ known as Eagle One, a Gulfstream IVSP, Gulfstream V, Cessna Citation 2 aircraft and Hawker Siddley 12x-800 jet.
Each of the Falcon 7x jets was purchased in 2010 at a market value of $51.1 million, while the Gulfstream 550 costs $53.3 million.
The average price of Falcon 900 is $35 million, Gulfstream IVSP is $40 million, Gulfstream V is $45 million, Boeing 737 BBJ is $58 million, Cessna Citation is $17 million and Hawker Siddley 125-800 is $15 million. The total cost is $390.5 million which converted to naira is N62.48 billion. An industry report reveals that a total of 9.1 billion naira is spent yearly to maintain the planes.

one then wonders if this is true, no wonder Asuu has refused to call of the ongoing strike, as the president is running another private industry of aircraft
