My Interview with Lypsi One of J-towns Finest music Artiste, hes my Guest of the Week,

What is Your Name? –

My Name is Caleb Onuche but popularly known and called Lypsi!

What do you do? - I'm a student. Studying Law in University Of Jos...And also an artiste into Music

Where do you reside? - I'm based in Jos yes that's where I reside for now

Tell us brief about your family - Family's everything I have five siblings (4 elder, 1 younger) and I'm actually the last boy of the house!*smiles*.shout out to my family! They’ve been supportive love them to bits!

Why Venture into Music? – I have always been surrounded with music right from my childhood days I grew up with that, Listening to lots of music and my brothers were music lovers too so the love and passion for music developed..

Who is Your Mentor? - I listen to a whole lot of artistes...but my mentor musically is Tinie Tempah and back home here it's M.I and Vector !i look up to them and I would say Phenom also I'm a big fan

What is your Stage name? - My stage name is Lypsi

Why that name? - Lypsi has been my nickname like ever since unlike what many people think, Girls especially that it's due to the nature of my lips! Because my the lips are like small, Lypsi has always been my nickname even when growing so I just took it up

What are Your songs so far - My songs so far actually I’ve got couple of songs but so far I have  released two : "MISTER and ZOMBIE" both enjoying airplay and available on numerous sites online I'm actually planning on another release soon

Why did you choose those names? - basically the name came from the song like "MISTER" if you hear it it's like telling the lady he wants to be her MISTER...on the other hand "ZOMBIE" had a sample of Late Fela's Zombie but now remodified Zombie was originally done by Yung6ix...so when I heard the beat it was really good just had to do mine called on Titobrown and that was how it came about, basically that's how the names came about

Where do we see Lypsi in the three years? -In the next three years I would say Lypsi would be So Far gone by then the world will know my name by then! That’s my dream, that's what I see and that's what I believe

And that’s what we pray happens!

Any Girlfriend? - *laughs* girlfriend? Well for now Music's my girlfriend and I must say me and music = perfect relationship ever! So No! None for now

What's Your Take on the on-going Strike? - I would say it's both good and bad...Good in the sense that they want to end everything once and for all, so that when it's called off there won't be another after 6months or after a year! I think that's what they are fighting for and that's a good one, on the other hand it's bad also because a lot time has been wasted at home this will affect students one way or the other

What is your take on Nelson Mandella Death?

I think it's kinda sad because a great man and icon left this world but looking at his age and accomplishment!it's safe to say his death's an accomplished one

What's Your Advice to others? - In everything you do put God first and believe Work hard! apparently it will be a matter of time before you get there or rather we get there because I'm not even where I want to be yet, but I can see the Lights shining on us all !if you know what I mean
