MIRACLE? Two bombs uncovered in a church

Imo state commissioner of police, Abdulmajid Ali told news men that two timed bombs were on Sunday discovered in Living Faith church, owerri. “We were alerted that some devices were seen in the church and immediately we deployed our anti-bomb squad. “We are happy that the squad immediately detonated the bomb on arrival”, he said. He however added that six persons have been arrested in connection to the incident.

SAD NEWS...Gospel artist, Kefee is dead

Kefee Branama, the "kokoroko" crooner died in the early hours of today. Couple of weeks back, the talented artist was said to have collapsed in an airplane on her way to Chicago. Few days later, the doctors discovered that she was suffering what they called a pre-eclampsia-pregnancy induced high blood pressure. After several efforts by doctors and well wishers to save her life, Kefee eventually gave up the ghost this morning. RIP Irikefe Obareki aka Kefee!

A lot of controversies have arisen as to who will be new Emir but most persons have tipped the former CBN governor for the post.
The Governor has today choosen the former CBN boss to be the traditional leader.

Another Bomb goes off(female suicide bomber)

Report reaching us show thay two persons have died in Gombe, capital of Gombe State, after an explosive device reportedly went off prematurely. According to a top security source in the state, the dead were a soldier and the suicide bomber a woman who was “scattered” by the blast.

The explosion occurred at about 11am along Military Quarter Guard along Biu Road in Gombe,” the source said. “The woman had the explosive in her bag, but the bomb went off prematurely.  She was scattered by the explosion. Unluckily, she got a soldier as well.”

It was gathered that the woman's target was actually a military base but it fortunately went off before time

Governor of Kano state, Rabiu Kwankwaso disclosed to reporters yesterday that the new Emir of Kano will be announced today, Sunday 8th of June. Security has hereby been placed on red alert to avoid any form of violence before and after the announcement. The two favourites for this position are the former Governor of Central Bank, Alhaji Sanusi Lamido Sanusi and his uncle, Alhaji Abbas Sanusi. It should be recalled that the former Emir died after a long battle with cancer on Friday, 6th of June.
