Women and selling Children Enough is Enough

Police Raid Baby Factory, Rescue 19 Pregnant Teenagers i Just stumbled upon this story that police raided a baby factory in abia state and receovred 19 pregnant women

This issue has become a recurrent decimal in our nation, were woemn get pregnant and sell their children for as low as 10thousand naira

I am ashmed with this development, the Holy books  tells us that children are a blessing from God

why then have this women failed to realise this, who is to blame, is it the women who cant close their legs, or is the situation that bad to open your leg to survive, or do this women get raped and get pregnant

well whatever the situation is, selling children is nt the best, i dont know who will read this article or write up but what i have to say is that your child mighyt end up being the Josheph in the bible and you might regret this decison

Let me however thank the Nigerian police, they have time and Time again shown that , they are indeed capable of performing their dties effectively and effeciently,

What ever the situation dont sell that child, thank God there are Orphanages, You could drop them there if you are too irresponsible to take care of the child

The long and short of this is close your legs and get work to do and dont bring a child that your not ready to train into this world to suffer

Enough is Enough

Revealed!!! What you dint Know about Deeper Life Church and Pastor Kumuyi

Why The Church Is Called Deeper Life PLUS The Real Meaning Of My Name & Why I Changed It - Pastor W.F Kumuyi

Read the Story Most of you dint Know about Pastor Kumuyi, and Deeper Life, really Educative

Pastor Kumuyi narrated why he changed his original name Ikumuyiwa meaning “death brought this” to Kumuyi.
Excerpts:

African names have meanings. What does Kumuyi mean?
The full name is Ikumuyiwa, which means ‘death brought this”. After I became a Christian, I realised it was the death of Christ that has brought us salvation, and also the redemption and reconciliation we have with God. So, for me, the name, Ikumuyiwa, is very significant – death has brought something good. The death of Christ has brought us the grace and goodness of God, and the relationship we have now with the Lord.

How many siblings do you have?
I have two siblings – a sister who is three years younger than I am, and a brother who is far much younger, 18 or 19 years younger than I am. Both of them are in Nigeria . My sister lives in Ondo State . A born-again Christian, she attends Deeper Life. My brother lives in Osun State, and he is also in the Church. Both of them are following the Lord.

You left the Anglican Church for the Apostolic Church. What made you switch?
I was teaching in Mayflower School, my alma mater. I completed my secondary school education in 1961, and started teaching mathematics at Mayflower in 1962. It was there that I was introduced to the Apostolic Faith, not Apostolic Church, and really heard about the change that Christ could make to our lives when we turned from our sins and believed in him and how he died for us on the cross of Calvary. It was there that I had the salvation experience and things really turned up for me.

You became a born-again Christian at the age of 23, on 5th April 1964. Do you still remember what happened?
Yes, a preacher was preaching a simple message, and because I had become almost like a moralist in the sense that I protected my name and personality, when that preacher preached, I saw that it was not just our actions that made us unacceptable to God, even our wrong thoughts and wrong plans or planning our lives as if God didn’t exist, also made us unacceptable. I then realised that I needed God. And when the preacher made an altar call, he pointedly said if “anybody needed Christ to fill the void in their lives, such people should come forward”, I felt drawn to what he was saying. I went forward, knelt down and prayed.
In fact, it was such an important day for me that I still remember it to this day, even where I knelt, how it all happened, and the peace and joy that came to my heart, that now I was reconciled with God through Jesus Christ. It was very definite.

Was it in Lagos ?
No, it was in Ijebu-Ode in Ogun State , about one-and-a half hours drive from Lagos.

Why did you call it Deeper Life?
Actually it came from the people. When they received the articles, they came to the Bible studies and said: “We’ve been Christians before, but this one is deeper than what we used to know.” So they used the name Deeper Life. We also knew that we were leading them to deeper relations with God; that is how those articles became Deeper Christian Life Articles. Then as we continued with the Bible studies, the group became known as the Deeper Christian Life Ministry. And when it became a Church in 1983, we called it the Deeper Life Bible Church.

Are you saying the name, Deeper Life, didn’t come from you?
Well, yes and no. We called the articles we sent out “Deeper Life Articles”. The people themselves were saying those articles were deepening their Christian lives. So the name came from both sides.

Nine (9) Ways To Deal With Body Odour

Body odour, just like mouth odour, is an unpleasant thing that anybody can grapple with.
Medically referred to as bromhidrosis, experts say body odour occurs when the bacteria on the skin’s surface breaks down sweat into acid, releasing malodorous chemical compounds in the process.
Here are some ways you can prevent Body Odour:

- Bathe with warm water in the morning, at night and after any strenuous activity. Warm water kills off bacteria that are present on the skin.

- Use an antibacterial soap to wash areas that are prone to body odor.

- Dust your underarms, your groin area and beneath the breasts with baking soda. This will absorb odor and prevent moisture that provides the ideal environment for odor-causing bacteria.

- Soak a wash cloth in apple cider vinegar and wipe down areas of the body that contain bad odor. Be sure to get in-between fat rolls and other areas where moisture can accumulate.

- Follow the vinegar application with a clean dry wash cloth to remove excess moisture. If the skin is not thoroughly dried, odour-causing bacteria can accumulate and fungus may grow.

- Use a crystal rock stick in place of deodorant. It will not reduce perspiration, but it will balance out the pH level on the skin, thereby reducing the development of odour-causing bacteria.

- Chew parsley to neutralize body odour. The chlorophyll will even out the body’s pH levels.

- Carry baby wipes with you so you can wipe areas where odour occurs. Throughout the day, use a wipe under the arms and around the groin area.

- Clothing: natural fibres allow your skin to breathe, resulting in better evaporation of sweat. Natural-made fibres include wool, silk or cotton.

He Wants me back....

My name is Yemisi a graduate of microbiology OAU where i met my love Femi,a brilliant and kind hearted young man.Femi was my course mate. We were in love through out our university days and graduated together

.I never knew anything could tear us apart until we were posted for our NYSC. Femi was posted to Benin and I was posted to Lagos state.

Femi promised my parents he will marry me after NYSC and he also gave me an engagement ring.Four months after Femi left,he stopped calling me and stopped picking my calls then he changed his line.

I travelled down to ibadan to see his parents but getting there,I got the worst shock of my life."Hmmn Femi is in love with another girl in benin and he told us not to give you his contact".Said Femi's father. His mother breaks in"You see my daughter he is our only son and we want his happiness".I left Ibadan heart broken.I told my parents and they advised me to forget him.

HELP!!!!!!!!!!

hi people help me out with this friends story

Name withheld, she said she met a guy as far back as 2008, it was not love at first sight, but over a week they met had lunch sometimes, dinner and it was going on well. after a week he said the "I love You word" ( i can see the grin on your face)... she was drawn far aback that how possible is it for a guy to tell you i love you in just one week and she began to doubt his intentions, he invited her over to his place several times but she kept giving excuses of work, however if it was a restaurant she dint really give so much excuses, time past and she started loving the guy very well as he was very romantic as to the candle light dinner and movies at the cinema as well as some crazy adventures they went for, he had even booked them for a week getaway to S/A just for change of environment, well she turned down the offer because of work but this guy does not really believe in religion.
There is this other guy who is also interested in her, not the romantic type, he also can take care of his woman but, he is very churchy, and  not as rich as this other guy, most times he invites her to church while shes expecting to be invited to dinner. this church guy has not asked her out but at least has shown intentions.
Now she is 29 and dosnt know who to choose, the guy who is fun and is ready to do anything or the church guy who isnt that rich, time is running out for her and shes hearing rumours that the rich fun guy has alot of girls hanging around him, some even ready to propse to him, but he said hes patient for her, and so is the church guy. the last issue is that her mother is sick and the rich guy has been helping out a lot. she at a dilemma between future wealth and God or present happiness with wealth and fun. shes claims to love both of them.
What should she do?

please your comments will help her!

Education: The Most Powerful Weapon for Changing the World by Muhammad Muntasir Adamu

As Nelson Mandela said, “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world”.  Education is the key to eliminating, gender inequality as well as to reducing poverty, to creating a sustainable planet,, to preventing needless deaths and illness, and to fostering peace. Also in a stable economy, education is the new currency by which nations maintain economic competitiveness and global prosperity.

The importance of education to human beings cannot be overemphasized. Globally, education is considered as a human right that should be accorded to all human beings, in fact it was the reason why a lot of international human right bodies consider education as a fundamental human right.  It can also be seen in our 1999 Constitutional of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as amended in Chapter 2 which deals with Fundamental Objectives and Directives Principles of State Policy which states that the government shall provide free, compulsory and universal primary education, free university, and free adult literacy education but sadly as we all know, our Chapter 2 is unjusticiable.

REVEALED!! Nigerians Drink 8bn packaged water daily

Nigerians consume N8bn packaged water daily —NAFDAC DG

Director-General of NAFDAC, Dr. Paul Orhii.
The Director-General, National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control, Dr. Paul Orhii, has said that Nigerians consume bottled and sachet water worth N8bn daily.
According to him, this accounts for the high number of people getting into the business of packaged water production, and underline the need for the agency to regulate activities within the sector.
Orhii spoke at a stakeholders’ forum organised by the Small and Medium Scale Enterprise Group of the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Lagos on Wednesday.
“Water consumption amounts to N8bn per day in Nigeria, that is, talking about bottled water only, not taking into consideration other uses and with a population of about 160 million people; it is a very good business. Everybody will want to get into it and so there is a need for training,” he said.
Orhii said NAFDAC was closely monitoring the business to ensure that quality was not compromised, adding that the agency was sometimes stringent on its requirements for product certification in order to discourage those who did not meet the required standards.
According to him, the agency has also concluded plans to begin the certification of chemical dealers after giving them basic trainings on the dangers of some chemicals to human health.
Speaking on the challenges of the agency, Orhii said counterfeit drugs remained the major problem confronting NAFDAC and the nation at large.
He said Nigeria was susceptible to fake drugs due to its large population, dependence on imported goods and porous borders, and urged the people to report suspicions of illegal production of goods around them as consuming uncertified products could have dangerous consequences.
The President, LCCI, Mr. Goodie Ibru, said the forum was organised to enable stakeholders to meet with the regulators on how to create an enabling environment for businesses to thrive.
Ibru said a good regulatory environment was crucial to the operations, viability and profitability of businesses in the country.
He said, “Recently, we received complaints from companies bordering on regulations, monitoring and compliance. We also conducted a survey on the activities of some public regulatory agencies, including NAFDAC.
“It was discovered that businesses are increasingly at the receiving end mostly in the areas of delay in registration and certification of products, multiplicity and arbitrary charges, frequency of visits that come with costs to the companies and overlap of functions with other agencies.”
Reacting to the complaints, Orhii said NAFDAC had put certain measures in place to alleviate the long process of product certification by establishing a small business support desk within the agency.
He urged business owners to take advantage of the support desk as well as the online services of the agency.

Letter To a Lover

Written by Akonor Jarigbe

I would give anything to have my 1 dream come true. That dream is us, us being together forever. Spending my entire life with you, waking up next to your handsome/beautiful face every morning. Please promise me, that you will never give up on us. No matter what obstacles we will face in this life, that is ahead of us, cause I know we will. You need to know that you are the best thing that has ever happened to me, I know I don't always show it but the moment you came into my life it changed, for the better.
I have this amazing person, my soul mate who I care for even more than myself, who I would do anything in the world for, I will never let you go for you have become my life. You have taught me how to love, shown me what a best friend is, and how lucky I am to have such a special person. Some say first love never lasts, but it never dies. I want you to be my only love, to always have this fire that burns brighter throughout the years to come. I love you to the sun and back, forever.
