Robert Lewandowski scored the winner, as Borussia Dortmund inflicted Arsenal’s second defeat of the campaign, with a 2-1 win at the Emirates on Tuesday evening.
The Germans were the better side through out the game and started brightly, hassling the hosts and forcing errors from their players. It was not long before Henrikh Mykitaryan opened scoring for the Bundesliga side, after an Aaron Ramsey error. Olivier Giroud levelled up shortly before half time. In the second half, both sides went for the jugular, but it was Lewandowski who pounced to give Jurgen Klopp’s men all three points.
Aleksandr scored a late winner, as Zenit defeated 10-man Porto at home, while Steaua were held at home by Basle. Callejon and Zapata scored at the Stade Velodrome, as Napoli beat Marseille 2-1. Celtic won 2-1 at Celtic Park against Ajax, while Atletico Madrid humbled Austria Vienna 3-0 away.
